As the North America Co-Leader for Procurement, Diversity & Inclusiveness (D&I) at EY, Lori Benson is dedicated and committed to align and broaden herorganization’s supplier diversity (SD) efforts across North America.
On an ongoing basis, Lori networks and develops relationships with new and existing diverse suppliers to constantly improve, segment and enhance EY’s SD program. Recognizing the value of internal advocates, Lori builds internalrelationships across various business units and is able to fully utilize the support of the D&I teams, talent, marketing and executive leadership to drive the value of SD both internally and externally. In addition to her work with CAMSC, Lori has advocated for EY to become founding members of WeConnect Canada andCGLCC(Canadian Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce).
A long time mentor for supplier development, Lori has led a multitude of training sessions for suppliers on how to respond to RFPs, make cold calls and perfect their elevator speech, to name but a few.
A regular corporate table host for marketplace meetings, Lori is an ardentpromoter of EY’s SD program to expand opportunities for diverse suppliers.
Whether, it is in downtown Toronto or at a CAMSC outreach event in Halifax or Winnipeg, Lori always finds opportunities to talk to suppliers about how tobenefit from membership and certification.
