Josh Dodd - Director, Procurement, Potash at Nutrien
After completing an Engineering degree from the University of Saskatchewan Josh started his career as a Mechanical Engineer, underground at the Nutrien Lanigan mine site – leading maintenance and operational improvement projects. After a one-year hiatus to travel, he took on a projects role with Stantec Consulting, supporting large green and brown field mine development engineering and construction projects in Saskatchewan.
Building from his practical field and technical experiences, in 2015 he shifted his focus to develop a broader business acumen as a manager in an organisational transformation role at PotashCorp, within the newly formed Strategic Procurement team. Through merger integration as Nutrien, he was appointed Director, Procurement – Potash, and is leading the procurement, warehousing and inventory teams supporting Nutrien’s Potash Business Unit, across six operating mine sites.
