Social Procurement Program: Networking with Diverse Suppliers
Purchasing and Materials Management Division (PMMD) & Social Development, Finance and Administration Division (SDFA), invite diverse suppliers to Social Procurement Program: Networking with Diverse Suppliers. At this event, booths will be represented by various City of Toronto Divisions. Certified diverse suppliers will have an opportunity to network and to learn about the City's purchasing trends.
Adopted by City Council in 2016, the Social Procurement Program was developed to address some of the recommendations outlined in the Toronto Poverty Reduction Strategy and was fully implemented across the organization in 2017.
