Excerpt: This briefing note provides an overview of the results of an online survey the Canadian Aboriginal and Minority Supplier Council's (CAMSC) conducted of the Federal Electoral Candidates of the major parties during the 2008 Fall election. What we discovered helps reinforce CAMSC’s calls for immediate action towards better identifying the Aboriginal, Minority and Women-owned Businesses (AMWBs) in Canada, and provide them with a more level playing field with respect to procurement practices among public and private sector buyers.
